The work In Erranza is part of the homonymous project realized for the second edition of the Saluzzo Rural Happening initiative, curated by Rebecca De Marchi. During their wandering residency in the Saluzzo region, the artists Marzia Migliora and Luigi Coppola structured a dense program of meetings and movings, finished with the designing of a freely distributed folding map. The artistic project, which began in 2019, embraced the expanded pandemic time, giving value and quality to places, presences and living. Migratory processes and geological, historical and news times have been stratified in a path that leads from the Saluzzo plain, where intensive fruit production is practiced, to the Varaita and Po valleys where the scale of actions is reduced, in search of ecosystem alliances. Trough the distribution of the map, the artists’ invitation is to wander, that is, to allow ourselves the possibility of deviating, of departing from a known path to begin a journey of discovery, doubt and research.
