Forza Lavoro

The series of seven works on paper – part of the solo show Forza Lavoro, curated by Matteo Lucchetti at Lia Rumma Gallery in Milan – consists of collages combined with drawing, based on fragments taken from articles and advertisements in issues of Domus magazine from 1961, the year of the centenary and the construction of the Palazzo del Lavoro. The compositions relate human beings to environments linked to the industrial production model, dominant in the years of the economic boom and the cause of the harmful eff ects for which we are still paying the price today.
